I guess I have been busy and forgot about writing here. But I will give it a try.
To say things have been interesting is an understatement and I am going to get right to it. One reason I have not been writing much is my laptop has issues( I know in your head you thought “like you”),anyway it refuses to let me type a “L”, “.” for the most part. One doesn’t know how many times you need an L until you try and comment on facebook, it’s crazy. Talk about crazy, don’t try and count the periods. So that’s part of it.
In May I received a call from my landlord on Memorial weekend at 9:30 pm to let me know they were selling the house I shared with them. I, of course was shocked, pissed, oh, and angry. Oh well, that’s the island now. The house was bought in 1998 for 280,000 approx. and sold it for 2.2 million, nice.
Now I am homeless for the most part. I have places to stay, thanks to some really good friends, which is nice but homeless none the less. Not looking for pity, I’m good. It is what it is.
In April, I ran into an old friend, it was nice.
I had a friend tell me I should have planned for my future better, I told him I didn’t expect to live this long. My Dad died when he was 65.
